Where can a child in Szczecin train memory for vocabulary?

At Space Memory, online, from home — classes are not held in classrooms. Sometimes a child goes over a word list several times and still can't recall it in a test at school. In class with a coach they learn the association technique: a new word becomes an image that is easier to recall. We teach it on the words the child currently has to learn at school. The coach works with a group of 5–10 children once a week for 90 minutes. The child then reinforces the technique in short exercises on the platform.

Can a child in Szczecin study at Space Memory?

Yes. All classes are online, so a child in Szczecin joins a group of their age over the internet, without leaving home.

How does the association technique work?

The child turns a new word into an image and links it to the meaning. An image is easier to recall than a dry entry on a list. That's why we practise this technique on foreign-language words.

Do you teach English in class?

We don't teach a language as a subject. We teach a memory technique the child uses for words in any language, as well as for dates and definitions.

What language are the classes taught in?

There are no English-language groups at the moment; the language depends on the group. You can still sign up — a manager will confirm the language and suggest a group.

What age are the classes for?

Children aged 8–18. From eight, because the techniques rely on confident reading and writing. Groups are split by age: 8–9, 10–12, 13–15 and 16–18.

Can we start with the free test?

The short version is three game-style tasks, about seven minutes, no sign-up, with an instant result. It doesn't diagnose or measure IQ — it shows what comes easier to the child and what is harder.

How much do the classes cost?

The first month is ≈ $94, then ≈ $125 a month (converted from 369 and 489 zł); the manager will confirm the exact amount.
